This is a standardized Lavender. The 40/42 refers to the percentage of Linalool and Linalyl Acetate, which are two main components of Lavender oil Wonderful in soaps and candles. Lavender Essential Oil has a uniquely clean and herbaceous floral aroma and a long list of calming and soothing properties that make it a favorite for many. It can help to relax the mind by relieving feelings of stress and bringing the emotions into balance.
