All power adapters handle the correct power requirement for their respective diffuser models and insure that these diffusers run consistently at 60Hz to allow for the perfect atomization of essential oils. Diffuser World's most popular atomizing diffuser, the Aroma-Ace 12 Volt model power adapter set, is also UL compliant for use in environments that require strict compliance and power usage guidelines.

Electrical Certifications:

Electrical Testing Labs (ETL) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) provides safety-related certification, validation, testing, inspection, auditing, advising and training services to a wide range of clients, including manufacturers, retailers, policymakers, regulators, service companies, and consumers. The true legal requirement to test and certify products for sale in the United States is a designation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).

Many hospitals and health care facilities require a 12V unit due to regulations where low voltage or UL certification is required on the plug. Our Aroma-Ace 12V unit fills three areas of certification. UL certification on the Plug. ETL certification on the unit itself, and it also meets the European directive called the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) which mandates voltages under 48 volts.
