Make sure that the clogged ear faces upwards through the night, and repeat the process for the following three nights. After four nights, replace the olive oil with warm water to loosen and remove the ear wax for good.

Put the cotton ball as close to the entrance of your ear canal as you can, and keep it there for several minutes so that the oil has time to work.
Essential Oil Blend for Ear Wax
- 4 drops Lavender essential oil
- 4 drops Thyme essential oil (substitutes are: Melaleuca or Basil)
- Olive Oil
- Organic cotton ball
- 1 dram glass dropper bottle
EAR BLEND: Add essential oils to 1 dram dropper bottle, fill with organic olive oil.
COTTON BALL PROTOCOL: Tear off a sufficient piece of cotton ball, dip and saturate with warmed ear blend. To warm the blend to body temp, place bottle under your arm for 5 minutes. Place cotton ball in blocked ear overnight each night until wax has loosened and makes its way out of the ear canal.
DRIP METHOD: Lie down on a bed or sofa with the affected ear towards the ceiling. Enlist a family member or friend to carefully place two to three drops of the olive oil, lavender, thyme solution into the ear (if you're solo, a hand mirror can be used). Let the blend sit for 7 to 10 minutes to loosen up the earwax and address any infection. Now, lay down in the opposite direction with the same ear on a towel covered pillow to drain. Usually, after one use, the ear is functioning better, but for stubborn wax, it can take two to three protocols of the blend in the ear to get the wax buildup loosened. Remember, NEVER go after ear wax with a sharp tool or, stick a cotton swab in the ear canal. This action can push the wax further into the canal and against the eardrum.
