Is Your Essential Oil Diffuser As Therapeutic As Your Oils In Mayfield, KY?
Essential oils by nature are therapeutic in Mayfield, KY, but is your diffuser? We did the research on essential oil diffusers and found the data. If you don’t believe the data in Mayfield, KY, just do the math!
To put this into perspective, there are approximately 3,460 drops of water in one cup of water. So you would need to put 346 drops of essential oil into one cup of water to achieve a 10% mixture. This means that even if you used all that oil, an ultrasonic diffuser would only be one tenth as therapeutic as using a nebulizing / atomizing diffuser. It would require 44 hours of ultrasonic diffusion to equal one hour with atomizing/nebulizing diffusion.
Are All Atomizing/Nebulizing Essential Oil Diffusers The Same In Mayfield, KY?
So we know that the best method to diffuse essential oils is with an atomizing diffuser, but which atomizing diffuser is the best? Aren’t they all the same? Absolutely not! Again, we tested the ten most popular atomizing or nebulizing diffusers on the market and found that most are not worth your money. The others are simply substandard.
We have purchased and tested numerous atomizing diffusers in the past sixteen years. What we have discovered is that most use cheap, Chinesemade elements and motors that burnout in a very short period of time. So you could end up purchasing two to three of those diffusers every year or two, even with normal use. If you run your diffuser regularly, you could wind up wasting hundreds of dollars. Out of the top ten diffusers tested, five of them are illegal to sell in the US.
ESIP holds over 13 patents and 5 patents pending on atomizing or nebulizing technology. They have gone to Federal Court to prove these patents are valid and have won. These five diffusers are illegal because they infringe on the intellectual property of ESIP, LLC. The top three of the units tested are licensed by ESIP, LLC and from the data you can see the bottom two diffusers aren’t worth the paper they were test on.

Mayfield, KY, The city of Mayfield, KY is abundant in history, dating from the early 19th century. Mayfield has survived wars and depressions, and it has also thrived in times of prosperity. The city has been a powerful industrial area over the years, while it still manufactures many goods that are sold here in the community. Several famous names have come from Mayfield since its founding, including a few of today's celebrities who proudly join the town's citizens in calling Mayfield "home."
The first known settler of Mayfield was John Anderson of Albermarle County, NC in 1819. Anderson built the first house in Mayfield-a log cabin-on what is now North 5th Street. World War I also employed many of Mayfield's young men. One soldier, Marshall P. Helm, wrote these words to his family just before leaving for the war: "I hope you get along O.K. and live happy till I get back from kicking the Kaiser."
Sadly, this young man, along with several others from Mayfield, caught influenza while on the ship to France and died in the hospital there. The first female sheriff in the United States was Mayfield's Lois Roach in 1922, who took over for her husband after he was murdered on duty. Tobacco was one of the first industries of Mayfield, and one of the longest-lived. The Mayfield Woolen Mills and the Merit Manufacturing Co., which produced pants and suits, once could boast to be two of the largest factories of their kind in the nation.
Mayfield, KY, Mayfield is in the center of the Jackson Purchase, an eight-county region purchased by Isaac Shelby and Andrew Jackson from the Chickasaw people in 1818. Mayfield was established as the county seat of Graves County in 1821, and the county was formally organized in 1823. John Anderson is believed to have been the first settler, arriving in 1819 and building a log home on Mayfield Creek. In December 1821, Anderson was appointed county court clerk and moved about two and a half miles to the site that became Mayfield.
According to Trabue Davis, the town's name originates indirectly from a gambler named Mayfield, who was kidnapped about 1817 at a racetrack near what is now Hickman. He was carried to the site of today's Mayfield, where he carved his name into a tree in hopes that someone would see it. He then tried to escape, but he drowned trying to cross what is now called Mayfield Creek. The future town got its name from the creek.
