The Diffuser Cleaner is a high purity, laboratory grade, 99% Isopropyl Alcohol Anhydrous liquid multi-purpose cleaner and solvent. It helps to cut through oil clogs, oil build-up, and residue in atomizing diffusers as well as ultrasonic diffusers and is safe to use on plastic. Diffuser Cleaner When diffusing essential oils over time, your diffuser will develop an oil buildup that potentially can prevent it from working properly. This alcohol based diffuser cleaner is a more efficient and convenient way to keep your diffuser running in tip-top condition. When to Use the Diffuser Cleaner: We recommend cleaning between oil changes and prior to storing away or traveling with your diffuser. Sticky oil clogs are the main reason diffusers end up in the repair shop. As a general rule, it’s best to use your atomizing diffusers DAILY to keep the internal tubes and straws clear of oil clogs. How to Clean Your Diffuser: Atomizing Diffusers (Waterless): Turn off diffuser. Remove the orifice reducer from the Diffuser Cleaner bottle. Screw the atomizer on to the Diffuser Cleaner bottle. Diffuse on high for a couple of minutes in a well ventilated area. Place several drops of the cleaner on a soft rag and wipe the outside of diffuser clean. Do not tip diffuser with the Diffuser Cleaner attached to the unit. Well-Style Atomizing Diffusers : Turn off diffuser. Clear the well of excess essential oil. Fill the bottom of the well with Diffuser Cleaner. Diffuse for a couple of minutes on high in a well ventilated area. Place several drops of the cleaner on a soft rag and wipe the outside of diffuser clean. Ultrasonic Diffusers (Water): Turn off diffuser. Remove excess water. Place several drops of the cleaner on the ultrasonic chip and soak the chip for a few minutes before wiping off. Wipe out the inside and outside of the diffuser with a little Diffuser Cleaner on a cloth.

Do you wake up in the morning craving more sleep? Do you ever suffer from a lack of energy in the late afternoon? There are so many reasons why our energy occasionally tends to lag at key moments in the day. Adrenal fatigue, lack of quality sleep, stress, or aspects of a more serious condition can all play a part. Instead of downing that second cup of coffee, get energized with essential oils. Here is a rundown of a few essential oils for energy! Essential Oils for Energy Feeling sluggish? Try diffusing a blend of these three essential oils. Good Morning Diffuser Blend #1. Peppermint Essential Oil Peppermint essential oil (as well as spearmint) has the ability to uplift as well as energize. This is a perfect essential oil to use if you are suffering from mid-afternoon "brain fog" or are just feeling a little blah. It contains high levels of menthol and has been shown to fight chronic fatigue as well as improve concentration. It can also help with the fatigue caused by slow digestion or overeating. Or try this: Rub a few drops of peppermint oil diluted in a carrier oil directly on your temples for instant refreshment! Be careful to keep it away from the eye area. #2. Lemon Essential Oil Lemon essential oil is right up there with peppermint as one of the most uplifting and energizing of all the essential oils. In fact, all citrus oils, including grapefruit and orange, can make this claim. They are often used together as a super-charger in diffusers or applied topically (dilution is recommended). Citrus oils can elevate the mood and lift the spirits. All citrus oils, and especially lemon oil, contains healing antioxidant terpenes such as limonene. Lemon has also been associated with decreased blood pressure and can help to support a healthy liver - leading to less toxicity and more overall energy for you! #3. Frankincense Essential Oil Frankincense is often called the "Holy Grail" of essential oils. Indeed, it was thought to be a holy substance in Biblical times. Today, the ways in which it can help you create balance and vitality in your life are too many to name here! Frankincense's gift when it comes to lifting energy is in the way it can gently balance the nervous system. Its effect is not as instantly noticeable as peppermint or citrus, but it can be subtly long-lasting. If you suffer from the lethargy and low energy that often comes with hormonal imbalance or depression, or if you sometimes have bouts of anxiety, then frankincense may just become your "go to" essential oil. Studies have shown that the oil "massages" the limbic system and this can have an effect on soothing the nervous system overall. Or try this: Remember that a little goes a long way when it comes to frankincense. Rub it in diluted form on lymph node areas or use it in a diffuser for gentle invigoration. If you use a food grade frankincense oil internally, one or two drops under the tongue should do the trick to soothe, balance, and uplift your mood. How to Use Essential Oils One of the amazing things about using essential oils for health and well-being is the diversity of options for using oils. Whether you breathe a mist through an oil through a diffuser, inhale from a facial steam bath, or apply it topically, the beauty of these oils is that their aromatic essence can enter into your system quickly. Essential oils are comprised of very small particles that are able to break the blood-brain barrier, which is why people have found them so supportive for mental clarity and emotional well-being for centuries. As a rule, less is more when it comes to how much to use, especially if you are using top quality essential oils. Most people think that stuffy sinuses only happen during cold and flu season. Sinus trouble, however, can plague you at any time of the year and it can happen for several different reasons. What's Causing Your Clogged Sinuses? The lining of the nose is more intricate than people think. Many things can cause irritation, leading to increased blood flow in the lining, and resulting in congestion. Though a common cold is the most likely culprit, there are a few reasons why you might feel like someone loaded your sinuses with cement, including: Allergies - You can suffer from these at any time of year. They can be caused by outdoor irritants such as pollen, grass, and trees, or by indoor irritants such as pets, dust, and mold. Weather - Nasal tissues can become inflamed from indoor heating in the winter, air conditioning in the summer, and overall dryness any time of year. Deviated Septum - The septum is the wall that separates the left and right nasal passage. If it leans over to one side, it will block that air passage and feel congested. Sinus Infection - Though it's the most frequent cause of nasal irritation, many people mistake a sinus infection for a cold. If congestion lasts more than 10 days, it might be the culprit. Medication Overuse - If you use nasal decongestants constantly, they could be doing you more harm than good. Your nose will begin to rely on the medication and stop healing on its own. Using Essential Oils to Clear Sinuses Different medications can be used to treat a variety of these ailments, but then you can run the risk of the last point: overuse. Luckily, there are several essential oils that can be used as an alternative to these medications. Essential oils can clear sinuses and help you relieve that annoying feeling. Not only can you use essential oils to clear sinuses, but they can also often treat the source of the problem, such as allergies and sinus infections. The next time you feel the stuffiness take over your airways, try filling your atomizing essential oil diffuser with a blend of these four essential oils to clear sinuses. Congestion Relief Diffuser Blend 1) Peppermint Essential Oil With its strong, minty scent, peppermint essential oil is commonly used to relieve sinus congestion and pressure. It also eases headache pain that can come from sinus infections or pressure when the weather changes. Plus, it's a natural way to ease nausea. Peppermint essential oil has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiseptic properties that penetrate the nasal lining for rapid relief when inhaled through a nebulizing essential oil diffuser. 2) Tea Tree Essential Oil Made from the leaves of the Melaleuca tree, and used for hundreds of years in natural medicine, tea tree essential oil has highly antiseptic properties that can relieve congestion, ease a cough, and soothe a sore throat. It has a very strong and powerful scent that can cut through the most clogged nasal passages, making it one of the best essential oils to clear sinuses. Tea tree essential oil can also kill the germs that cause cold and flu. 3) Oregano Essential Oil Highly regarded as one of the most useful and versatile essential oils on the planet, oregano essential oil contains high levels of thymol and carvacrol, two organic compounds that are scientifically recognized as having very powerful antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal properties. In fact, carvacrol is known to fight bacterial infections, parasites, viruses, inflammation, allergies, tumors, fungal infections, and chronic sinus issues. 4) Lemon Essential Oil Another fairly astringent and a highly stimulating remedy for sinus issues is lemon essential oil. This highly effective oil supports the respiratory and lymphatic systems by helping the body break down and release mucus and relieve congestion. It also strengthens and boosts the immune system to reduce future occurrences of sickness. In addition to this, lemons have strong anti-fungal, antibacterial, antiviral properties. Due to the high levels of citric acid, Vitamin C, calcium, and bioflavonoids present in this fruit, they are powerful germ and toxin fighters, helping to fight and eliminate the bacteria that leads to infection. Not only are mold and mildew unsightly, but they can also be seriously detrimental to your health. Mold and mildew spores are known causes of allergies, sinus infections, and skin irritation, to name a few. Essential oils have been proven to be a natural solution to this serious problem. The potency of pure essential oils reveals a non-toxic and natural method of fighting mold. Mold growth and exposure may be inhibited with these natural plant compounds. There are numerous studies showing the effectiveness of certain essential oils assisting in mold and fungus issues, as well as supporting immune function to aid in recovery from toxic mold exposure. Mold RX Expert Edward Close, Ph.D., a mold remediation consultant with 30 years experience in the environmental industry, with awards from many South Beach and Pompano Beach mold removal companies, was asked to do third-party sampling for mold in an apartment complex that had been flooded, evacuated, and later put up for sale. The buyer who was renovating the apartments had paid a company which had used the strongest stuff they knew of—a hospital disinfectant. Yet Dr. Close’s sampling showed that either the product had not killed the mold or that the mold had already re-established itself. Dr. Close diffused Young Livings' Thieves blend (a branded proprietary blend of five essential oils) in the Aroma-Ace Essential Oil Atomizing Diffuser in the apartments for a 24-hour period. The research project yielded astonishing results, and two weeks later they were even more astonishing! In another instance, 10,667 stachybotrys mold spores were identified in a per cubic meter area. After diffusing the Thieves blend for 48 hours, Dr. Close retested. Only thirteen stachybotrys remained. Similarly, 75,000 stachybotrys mold spores were identified in a sample of sheetrock. After 72 hours of diffusing, no stachybotrys mold spores remained. Disappearing Toxic Mold Spores -10,667 to 13 in 48 hours -75,000 to 0 in 72 hours The Perfect Storm Against Toxic Mold It’s powerful. But so is diesel fuel. It’s safe. Many things (like diesel) may kill mold, but they are toxins themselves. So you exchange toxins and the building is still uninhabitable. The oils in the Thieves blend has an FDA supplement facts panel on the label. It’s so safe that workers can breathe it while it’s diffusing. It’s long-lasting.While mold may be reduced immediately by standard remediation products, it often makes a fast comeback. The Thieves blend continues killing the mold for weeks afterward. Dr. Close documented his first 20 case studies (yielding similar results) in his book Nature’s Mold Rx, the Non-Toxic Solution to Toxic Mold .

Nosebleeds can be caused by a number of different things. It's not always possible to identify the exact reason why one occurs. Nosebleeds can start just inside your nostrils (anterior) or at the back of your nose (posterior). These different types of nosebleeds tend to have different causes. The vast majority of nosebleeds are anterior nosebleeds, which means the bleeding comes from the wall between the two nose channels (the lower septum), just inside your nose. This part of the nose, known as Little's area, contains many delicate blood vessels that can be easily damaged. Posterior nosebleeds: A small number of nosebleeds are posterior nosebleeds, which means the bleeding originates from branches of arteries that supply blood to the space inside your nose between the roof of your mouth and your brain (nasal cavity). These nosebleeds are more common in adults than children. They can be more serious than anterior nosebleeds and bleed more heavily. Medical attention may be required. Natural Nosebleed Remedy with Essential Oils Nosebleeds due to dry weather, cold weather or injury can be handled fast and efficiently with an essential oil. It's amazing just how quickly a common nosebleed can be stopped with this lemon, helichrysum, and cypress essential oil blend. Lemon Essential Oil: Lemon essential oil is hemostatic, meaning it helps stop bleeding by speeding up the coagulation process. Cypress Essential Oil: Cypress essential oil has been known to promote blood clotting. Helichrysum Essential Oil: Helichrysum is a healer encompassing wound healing, nerve damage, pain relief, and regeneration. Geranium Essential Oil: If helichrysum is out of your price range, until you can save up, consider Geranium. While helichrysum is great for emergencies to stop bleeding and manage acute pain, including nerve pain like sciatica, Geranium is also very special and perhaps a better option for your budget. Nosebleed Compress with Essential Oils Ingredients: 2 drops lemon essential oil 2 drops helichrysum essential oil 2 drops cypress essential oil 1 cup of water Paper towel, cotton ball, or gauze Instructions: Pour the water in a bowl and mix in the essential oils. Dip the whole paper towel in the water. Wring out the paper towel and place over the whole nose and apply pressure to the midsection to help speed up coagulation. It should only take up to ten minutes to stop the bleeding. This is just one out of a plethora of ways to use lemon, helichrysum, and cypress essential oils.
