I once heard a saying that the rich buy the best but they only buy it once. That seemed like a pretty good strategy to me and I have been doing it that way ever since. So after an extensive internet search for the best diffuser on the market it soon became apparent that all roads lead to Diffuser World. So I called Diffuser World fully prepared to order the top rated Aroma pro and was invited to test and evaluate the new state of the art Aroma Ace. Well after being told about the Aroma Ace I jumped at the chance mainly for the fact that it is the most efficient diffuser on the market and would eventually pay for itself. I warned Diffuser World that I am extremely discriminating, critical, and would only give a brutally honest evaluation good or bad, they said that was exactly what they wanted so here it is. The first thing I noticed was the weight, It is a small attractive all-in-one unit and I expected it to be light as a feather and was impressed when the unit was more solid and substantial. It reminds me of the way things used to be made if you don't believe me pick up my 1954 sewing machine! I have used it constantly for a week now and it has performed flawlessly. It is very easy to change oils, you can move it from room to room with one hand, it is very quiet, and I like that it doesnt have any fragile expensive to replace glass parts. It has a comfort insert across the top which seems a little silly,I mean it would make more sense if it was a comblnation diffuser and garden tool but then again I guess a comfort insert is better than no comfort insert. My only real problem with the unit is the position of the control knobs
,is hard to see. The knobs are black plastic with ribs running down the side and the rib indicating the position of the knob extends slightly toward the center of the knob but being all black it is hard to see right away. I would put a white dot or paint the indicating rib white. The only other possible problem is with the built in filter. I like the fact that it has a built in filter but I would prefer to be able to clean or replace it without dissassembling the unit. That being said, all in all, on a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the Aroma Ace a 9[as picky as I am high praise indeed] change the knobs and put in a servicable filter and you will have a 10! I would and will recommend the Aroma Ace to everyone!
